Porter Consulting Worldwide conducted formal Request for Proposal services for Wheaton College in 2003-2004. During Phase I, Porter Consulting conducted qualitative market research (focus groups, personal interviews) and an analysis of existing conditions to verify Wheaton College’s existing foodservice and future programming statement. Our services included programmatic definition of a master plan in keeping with the University’s future needs and goals. Foodservice programmatic recommendations addressed meal plans, concepts (branded and non-branded), operating hours, catering policies and operations, business systems, and potential renovations.

During Phase II, our team conducted a formal Request for Proposal process for the re-bid of Wheaton College’s campus wide foodservices. This encompassed development and issuance of an RFP through successful contract negotiation with the contractor awardee.
