PKC recently helped Brigham Young University Hawaii complete a campus-wide strategic dining plan for its campus as enrollment continues to grow and the University plans to add more on-campus housing.

For this project, our team spent five days on campus where we interviewed students and administrators. We also conducted a customized web-based survey that asked campus community members about their preferences regarding menu variety and selection, hours of operation, meal plan options and more. Using our in-depth market research, our team provided BYUH with specific recommendations including new customer-friendly meal plans and services such as extended hours of operation, new menu options and more. Our team also provided BYUH with a detailed demand model illustrating how much space would be required for future facilities in order to provide fast throughput and provide social gathering space for campus community members. We also completed detailed financial projections that illustrated the financial impact of our recommendations.
